Bio

Hi Folks. Here’s a quick bio. I got my Ph.D. in Management from Clemson, following Accounting and MBA degrees from UGA (don’t worry, I’m a diehard DAWG fan!). I started my career with a CPA firm and then purchased my own accounting practice, which I eventually sold to return to graduate school. At Clemson I was a Consultant with the Small Business Development Center, assisting entrepreneurs with business plans and day-to-day operations. I have been the managing partner in several real estate partnerships. I have spent the last 15 years in academics, while maintaining an active consulting practice, primarily in the management of quality, financial forecasting, and valuation. I have conducted business seminars in Eastern Europe and Russia, and have spent significant time studying and teaching in Europe, China, and Japan. My passion is the study of globalization, and its impact on culture and business.
